In many homes across Lethbridge, something quietly heartbreaking is happening—books are becoming a luxury. Between rising rent, groceries, transportation, and basic needs, many families are forced to make impossible choices. While books may not seem urgent compared to food or shelter, their absence creates a deeper, long-term cost. This cost impacts literacy, education, and opportunity.
But here’s the reality: Even in households where physical books are out of reach, most families still have access to at least one digital device. And that changes everything.
💡 A New Kind of Bookshelf
Today, a tablet, phone, or shared family computer can become a child’s entire library. That’s where my work begins.
As an emerging teacher and author, I’ve come to understand something important: traditional publishing often doesn’t open its doors to new voices easily. You’re expected to already be known before you’re given the chance to be heard.
So instead of waiting for permission, I chose a different path. I’m building something accessible—something immediate. I’m offering families and children free digital storybooks they can access right from their homes. Stories they can revisit, own, and grow with—without cost being a barrier.
❤️ Why This Matters
Literacy isn’t just about reading words on a page. It’s about:
Confidence
Imagination
Critical thinking
The ability to understand the world and make informed decisions
An educated population is a healthy population. A literate child becomes an informed adult. And informed adults shape stronger communities—and a stronger Canada.
If we want a better future, we have to start where it matters most: with our children.
🌱 One Heart, One Mind at a Time
My purpose is simple, but deeply personal. I’m not just trying to build a name for myself—though as a mother, I do hope to create a more stable financial future for my family. I’m also trying to build something bigger than that.
Something that says:
Every child deserves access to stories.
Every family deserves the opportunity to learn together.
No child should feel left behind because of cost.
Through The Invisible Me and my children’s storybook series, I am creating space for kids to feel seen, valued, and inspired. Because kids don’t just represent the future—they are the future.
🇨🇦 A Call to Care
If we want a stronger Canada, we need to invest in something fundamental: an educated population. That doesn’t start in government offices or policy papers. It starts in living rooms. On couches. In bedtime routines. On shared screens where stories come to life.
🌍❤️ Call to Action: Share the Story
Stories shouldn’t be a privilege—they should be a right. Help us put stories into every home. Share this message with your family, your friends, and your community.
If each person shares this with just five others, we can create a ripple effect that reaches children who need it most. Your voice could be the reason a child discovers a love of reading. One share can open a world of stories. Five shares can help change a child’s future. It starts with one story. It grows with one share. And it changes lives—one child at a time. Together, we can change the world—one reader at a time.
✨ Read With Us

Let’s build something better—together. One story. One child. One heart, one mind at a time.
📚 The Importance of Storytelling
Storytelling is an ancient art. It connects us, teaches us, and helps us understand our place in the world. Through stories, we learn empathy. We see the world through different eyes. We find our voices and our identities.
In a world where many feel unseen, storytelling becomes a lifeline. It reminds us that we are not alone. It shows us that our experiences matter. Every story shared is a step towards connection.
🌈 The Power of Community
Community is the fabric that holds us together. It’s where we find support, love, and understanding. When we uplift one another, we create a stronger foundation for future generations.
Imagine a community where every child has access to stories. A place where every family can gather around a screen or a book, sharing laughter and lessons. This vision is not just a dream; it can be our reality.
🌟 Join the Movement
I invite you to join this movement. Share your stories. Encourage others to share theirs. Let’s create a tapestry of experiences that enriches our community.
Together, we can ensure that every child feels valued. Every family feels supported. And every story finds its way into the hearts of those who need it most.
💖 A Personal Reflection
As I reflect on this journey, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the stories that have shaped me. Gratitude for the opportunity to share stories with others. And gratitude for the community that supports this mission.
Let’s continue to lift each other up. Let’s celebrate the unseen acts of kindness that often go unnoticed. Together, we can create a world where every child knows they are seen, heard, and loved.
🌼 Conclusion
In conclusion, the path to a brighter future begins with us. It begins with recognizing the power of stories and the importance of access to them. Let’s work together to ensure that every child has the opportunity to read, learn, and grow.
Because when we invest in our children, we invest in a better tomorrow. Let’s make that investment today.
