Integrity When Nobody Is Watching

Lethbridge Integrity Roofing

Sometimes you learn more about a business in a parking lot than you ever could from an advertisement.

Recently, outside the YMCA in Lethbridge, a woman found herself sitting in a vehicle that simply would not start. It was one of those ordinary inconveniences that can quickly turn into a stressful situation: especially when you don't know who to call or how you're going to get moving again.

And then somebody stopped.

A gentleman from Lethbridge Integrity Roofing took time out of his day to help. He didn't have to. There wasn't a roofing contract waiting at the end of it. There wasn't anything for him to sell.

There was simply another person who needed a hand. So, he stopped, pulled over, and helped jump her vehicle. And that matters.

When a Business Name Becomes Something More

There is something wonderfully appropriate about discovering that the person who stopped represented a company called Integrity Roofing.

Because integrity isn't really something you can put on a truck, print on a business card, or write across the top of a website.

Integrity is what you do when there is nothing in it for you.

It's stopping when you could keep driving.

It's noticing someone else's difficulty when you're busy with your own day.

It's saying, "I can help with that."

And then actually helping.

Interestingly, that philosophy appears to be part of the company's story. Lethbridge Integrity Roofing explains that the business was created after experienced roofing professionals saw problems in the industry such as improper installations, corner-cutting, leaks, unsuitable roofing applications and customers being left without adequate help. They chose the name Integrity Roofing because integrity was what they wanted their company to be known for.

On this particular day, at least, that word wasn't just branding. Someone lived it.

Who Is Lethbridge Integrity Roofing?

Integrity Roofing is a locally based roofing contractor serving Lethbridge and Southern Alberta.

The company has been operating for approximately 16 years and is currently a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating. The Better Business Bureau also notes that Integrity Roofing was the recipient of a 2025 Business of the Year for Customer Service Award.

The company offers services including roof repairs, asphalt shingle roofing, roof protection and caulking, ventilation and moisture-related roofing work, skylights, cedar shingles and shakes, as well as other roofing applications. Other listings include flat roofing, metal roofing, maintenance and assistance with insurance-related roofing work.

Their commonly listed location is:

901 Kodiak Place NorthLethbridge, Alberta T1H 1Y1

Phone: 403-360-0132

Why Might You Call Them?

There are plenty of practical reasons.

Southern Alberta is not particularly gentle on roofs. Between wind, hail, snow, ice, temperature swings and the occasional spectacular Lethbridge windstorm, the roof over your family is doing some serious work.

If you're dealing with missing shingles, a leak, an aging roof, storm damage, ventilation concerns, a skylight, or you're simply unsure whether something needs attention, Integrity Roofing is one of the local businesses you can contact. In fact, the company's own website invites people to call even when they aren't currently shopping for a new roof, if they simply have a question or something they're unsure about, the company says it is happy to help. But after what happened in that YMCA parking lot, we'd like to add another reason you might remember their name.

Character matters.

When we hire someone to work on our homes, we're not simply purchasing shingles, lumber and labour. We're inviting people onto our property. We're trusting their recommendations. We're relying on them to tell us what actually needs repairing and what doesn't.

And trust matters enormously when the person you're hiring knows more about the problem than you do.

That's why little moments of goodness can tell us something important. A person who stops to help a stranger doesn't automatically prove everything about a company, but it does give us a glimpse of the human being behind the business.

And we think those glimpses deserve to be noticed.

This Is How Communities Become Safer

The Invisible Me has always believed that making a community better doesn't necessarily require doing something enormous.

Sometimes it means noticing.

Sometimes it means holding a door.

Helping someone carry something.

Checking on a neighbour.

Standing beside somebody who is struggling.

Or pulling into a YMCA parking lot and spending a few minutes helping a stranger get her car started.

There was no award ceremony waiting there.

No television camera.

No applause.

Probably just two people standing beside a vehicle, some jumper cables, and a small problem that suddenly became manageable because somebody else decided it mattered.

That's community.

And those are exactly the people we want to make visible.

So, to the gentleman from Lethbridge Integrity Roofing who stopped:

We saw you.

Thank you for taking time out of your day.

Thank you for helping someone when you didn't have to.

Thank you for reminding us that good citizenship isn't complicated.

And thank you for demonstrating that sometimes the most meaningful way to advertise the integrity of your business has absolutely nothing to do with business.

It is simply being a good human being when the opportunity presents itself.

Thank you, Lethbridge Integrity Roofing, for helping make Lethbridge a kinder, safer and more connected place to call home.

The Invisible Me celebrates the people whose ordinary acts of kindness, service and humanity often happen without recognition, because sometimes the people doing the most good are the ones nobody notices.
