My Academic Writing
Academic Writing Description
My academic writing is grounded in an interdisciplinary foundation of History, Canadian Studies, and Political Science, with a particular focus on the social, cultural, and institutional development of Canada. Through my studies at University of Lethbridge, where I am pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Canadian History of Education, I developed a research-informed approach that emphasizes critical analysis, historical inquiry, and evidence-based argumentation.
My work explores the intersections between education, governance, and national identity, often examining how historical narratives shape contemporary Canadian society. Drawing on both primary and secondary sources, I aim to present nuanced perspectives that reflect diverse experiences and evolving understandings within Canada’s past and present.
Included in this body of work is a research archive project centered on Ruskin Service Rice, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. This project involved detailed archival research, document analysis, and historical reconstruction, contributing to the preservation and interpretation of individual military experiences within the broader context of Canadian history.
Across all of my writing, I strive to balance academic rigor with clarity and purpose, producing work that is both analytically sound and accessible. My scholarship reflects a commitment to understanding Canada’s past as a means of informing present and future conversations in education, policy, and national identity.
